About Bunyala Agr Climate Impact Solutions

Our initiative, Bunyala Agricultural Climate Impact Solutions, aims to build resilience against the adverse effects of climate change through innovative and sustainable agricultural practices. Central to our program is the development of organic, eco-friendly feeds derived from Black Soldier Fly (BSF) larvae, which serve as a nutritious, cost-effective alternative to conventional fish feeds. This approach not only reduces reliance on imported or chemical-based feeds but also promotes waste valorization and environmental sustainability. By empowering local farmers and youth with training, resources, and access to organic feeds, we enhance their capacity to adapt to changing climate conditions, improve crop and fish yields, and promote sustainable livelihoods. Our holistic approach integrates climate-smart agriculture, waste management, and community engagement to foster resilient, productive, and environmentally friendly farming systems in the Bunyala region.
