About Holistic Mental Health Africa

Holistic Mental Health Africa was founded in the year 2020 based on founder’s lived experience and huge communal gaps among vulnerable and marginalized communities in Kenya, Africa. HMH-Africa was officially registered under NGO coordination board 5/5/23. The main thematic key areas target different segments around mental health awareness and advocacy for those at the verge of mental condition, support programs/rights for mentally challenged through caregivers and preventive measures for general community including refugees, teen mothers, and persons living with physical disabilities (PWD) among others. Notable programs the past years are empower schools, youths and women through in person engagements and media advocacy through radios/TV’s, HMH global virtual communities and social media advocacy focusing on sustainable preventive measures to impact communities, support different mental health projects to expand the scope and work plan cuts across multifaceted mental health promotion and prevention across Africa, Kenya.
