About Kilimani Project Foundation

The Kilimani Project Foundation was formed in December 2012 and registered on 17th September 2013. The Foundation is not a Profit company limited by guarantee. It is a membership community foundation established in 2012 by and for multi-interest stakeholders residents, corporates, micro-enterprises, and public space occupiers. While Kilimani is pre-dominantly middle-class Nairobi Ward previously characterized by capacity for privatised service delivery, it is disenfranchised like most communities in Nairobi, demanding better public service delivery. Through transformative, innovative methods the Foundation seeks to activate the community’s constitutional rights through empowering as well as facilitating platforms for engaging.
