Target Population
Problem Statement
High youth unemployment in Kajiado North has led to increased drug abuse and dependency. While many youth possess basic computer knowledge, they lack the professional proficiency and soft skills needed for the job market.
Proposed Solution
The project offers certification in computer packages alongside peer engagement and intergenerational mentorship. It creates a 'Blue Zone' for learning and networking to foster self-awareness and career readiness.
Expected Impact
The project will increase the number of digitally certified youth, reduce engagement in crime, and create a network of skilled, self-sufficient individuals capable of pursuing self-employment or corporate careers.
Sustainability Plan
As a social enterprise, the hub generates income through its Computer School to fund mentorship programs. This revenue model ensures financial independence and continued service delivery.
