The "Fill a Library Marathon - Twende Kajiado" initiative aims to establish 10 Model School Libraries with 10,000 storybooks. This ten-week campaign champions literacy, life skills, and lifelong learning for over 4,000 learners in Kajiado County.

Problem Statement
Kajiado schools lack adequate library resources and reading materials, hindering literacy development. There is also a general attitude of indifference towards the value of libraries among stakeholders, and library lessons are often repurposed for remedial classes.
Proposed Solution
Establish 10 Model School Libraries stocked with 10,000 books. Train teacher-librarians and Junior Reading Champions to promote reading. Engage parents and stakeholders as Reading Ambassadors to foster a reading culture.
Expected Impact
Improved literacy rates and life skills among 4,000 learners. Establishment of functional libraries with trained staff. A shift in community attitude towards valuing libraries and education.
Sustainability Plan
