Problem Statement

Intersex persons face severe discrimination, infanticide, and abandonment due to societal taboos and a lack of awareness. They often suffer violations of their fundamental rights, including forced surgeries and social exclusion.

Proposed Solution

A multimedia advocacy campaign using short video clips and social media to raise awareness. Collaboration with universities and communication firms to produce high-quality, ethical content that challenges stereotypes.

Expected Impact

Increased public awareness and reduced stigma regarding intersex persons. Promotion of human rights and inclusive dialogue. Highlighting of unreported cases to trigger policy and societal change.

Sustainability Plan

Leveraging strong partnerships with educational institutions (USIU-Africa) and private sector partners (Crimson Communication) ensures the continued production of quality advocacy content and ethical research.
