Problem Statement

Single mothers in rural and urban informal settlements face extreme poverty, often resorting to 'sex-for-money' to survive. This leads to high rates of HIV, unplanned pregnancies, and an inability to support their children's education.

Proposed Solution

Train women in three income-generating activities: detergent making, peanut butter processing, and smart farming (poultry/vegetables). Integrate financial planning and climate-smart agricultural practices.

Expected Impact

Improved household income and nutrition. Reduced sexual exploitation and new HIV infections. Enhanced ability to pay school fees, ensuring children remain in education.

Sustainability Plan

The project fosters local ownership through community identification and peer groups. Economic activities generate profit for reinvestment, while climate-smart farming ensures long-term resource viability.
