Problem Statement

Teen mothers lack employment opportunities, and schoolgirls in pastoralist areas struggle with 'period poverty,' lacking access to affordable sanitary products.

Proposed Solution

Establish a production unit equipped with sewing machines. Train and employ teen mothers to produce reusable sanitary pads for distribution and sale.

Expected Impact

Creation of employment for teen mothers. Increased access to safe, affordable sanitary products for schoolgirls in five counties. Reduction in the organization's budget for disposable pads.

Sustainability Plan

The project operates as a social enterprise. Revenue generated from the sale of surplus pads to the general market supports operations and makes the initiative self-sustaining.
