Problem Statement

Youth in Mathare face high unemployment, drug addiction, and early pregnancies. They lack constructive outlets and skills to navigate their socio-economic challenges.

Proposed Solution

Provide training in filmmaking, beadwork, and crafts. Conduct "Mizizi Club" life skills sessions to address emotional health and decision-making. Foster a supportive community network.

Expected Impact

Empowerment of over 100 youth with marketable skills and self-confidence. Reduction in risky behaviors and improved mental well-being. Creation of a sustainable network of peer mentors.

Sustainability Plan

The project generates income by selling films, crafts, and merchandise. It integrates with local schools and NGOs to embed training programs, while alumni return as mentors to sustain the cycle of support.
