Intervention Areas
Target Population
Problem Statement
Adolescents in informal settlements face high risks of HIV, early pregnancy, and drug abuse. There is a lack of engaging platforms to educate them on sexual and reproductive health.
Proposed Solution
Train youth coaches to deliver life skills through sports. Establish a plastic recycling plant to engage youth in environmental conservation and income generation.
Expected Impact
Reach 3,000 adolescents with SRH information. Referral of 200 youth to health services. Establishment of a plastic recycling enterprise to support youth employment.
Sustainability Plan
The project integrates with the Department of Health for ongoing monitoring. The plastic recycling plant creates a revenue stream to support youth activities and project costs.
