Problem Statement

Declining fish stocks in Lake Victoria force women into 'sex for fish' practices to survive, exposing them to HIV/AIDS, GBV, and poverty.

Proposed Solution

Train women in paper making to produce saleable goods (diaries, cards) and introduce table banking to foster a savings culture and alternative income.

Expected Impact

Reduced GBV and 'sex for fish' practices, increased income, improved health insurance coverage, and economic empowerment for vulnerable women.

Sustainability Plan

Income from product sales sustains the project and supports beneficiaries. Reinvestment of profits ensures continuous training and business growth.
