Problem Statement

Extreme poverty forces families in Madagascar to involve children in dangerous mica mining, depriving them of education and exposing them to health risks.

Proposed Solution

Provide school meals/materials, improve school infrastructure, and offer parents alternative livelihoods (poultry/farming) to eliminate child labor.

Expected Impact

650 children rescued from mines and retained in school, improved nutrition, and 200 families supported with alternative, safer income sources.

Sustainability Plan

Parental economic empowerment reduces reliance on child labor. Improved school environments and community committees ensure long-term child protection.
