About Blossoms of Ghetto

Blossoms of Ghetto is a registered Community-Based Organization (CBO) founded in June 2024 and based in Mathare, Nairobi. The organization was started by former street youth who turned their lived experiences into a mission of hope and change. We exist to restore dignity, empower children and youth, and bring lasting transformation to slum communities. Our work focuses on: Feeding Programs – ensuring street families and vulnerable children have access to regular, nutritious meals. Education & Mentorship – supporting school fees, providing learning materials, and offering mentorship to nurture talent and life skills. Creative Arts & Sports – using art, music, and football to give children a safe space to grow their talents and build confidence. Community Outreach – clean-up projects, environmental conservation, and support for orphans, girls, and victims of abuse. Our vision is to create a world where every child, regardless of background, can smile, dream, and achieve their potential. Blossoms of Ghetto thrives on volunteerism, partnerships, and the belief that even small acts of kindness blossom into lasting change.
