Civil Society Organization Network (CSO Network) is a women led organization that was registered in 2008 has offices in Kisumu and Migori with over 15 years experience working in Busia, Bungoma, Vihiga, Kisumu, Migori, Siaya, Nyamira and Homabay counties. CSO Network works with groups and organizations directly, community structures and also with the County Governments and the national governmental structures on issues affecting the communities. The organization has built partnerships with different partners, stakeholders and community groups over time through her different programmes which include democracy and governance focusing on accountability and service delivery, womens economic, social and cultural rights, access to justice and protection and promotion of Human Rights and engages research and advocacy activities on land rights, sexual and gender-based violence and peacebuilding and conflict management. The organization also undertakes annual mentorship programme for young people especially young women through the internship programme. The organization carry out advocacy and lobbying campaign, policy engagements and strengthening of legal frameworks, with a focus on women girls, persons with disability (PWDs), marginalized and discriminated groups to sensitize, empower, strengthen and mobilize them to participate, defend and protect their social, economic and political rights. The organization carry out SGBV advocacy and lobbying activities, for both formal and informal structures on strengthening GBV management, structures and systems for access to justice. The organization works with women human rights defenders (WHRDs) to strengthen their capacity in addressing GBV at local level as well as enhancing the realization of social and economic rights of women. The organization vision is One Voice, One Purpose while the mission is Enhancing Collaboration and diversity through Networking and Capacity Building
