N/AAbout Eddah'S Hope Cancer Foundation
Eddahs Hope Cancer Foundation (#Cancersoldiers movement) was established in 2012, after the loss of Mama Eddah to breast cancer; with the vision of creating a cancer-free African generation and helping reduce the breast cancer burden faced by low-income families with mothers diagnosed with stage 1 & 2 breast cancer. Our mandate is to mobilize and educate young adults on the importance of prevention, early detection, and screening of breast cancer while creating awareness of cancer and helping deserving mothers access professional cancer care and the care they deserve during and after their treatment. We do this through; ? Creating awareness and providing population-based primary prevention. ? Encouraging screening for early detection. ? Capacity building. ? Paying NHIF insurance coverage for deserving mothers diagnosed with stage 1&2 breast cancer. ? Donating mastectomy bras and breast prostheses for mothers who have undergone mastectomy.
