About Fitness For Health Initiative Africa

This initiative aims to empower underserved individuals in Nairobi, Kenya, by providing access to life-enhancing personal medical devices, promoting independence, and improving their overall well-being. Many individuals in Nairobi with limited resources require essential medical devices such as hearing aids, crutches, walkers, breathing aids, and pacemakers, but face significant financial barriers to obtaining them. Furthermore, there is a lack of a clear system for redistributing these devices after they are no longer needed, leading to unnecessary waste and unmet needs. The initiative is driven by a deep personal commitment stemming from firsthand experience caring for a family member who required a breathing aid. This experience highlighted the financial strain and systemic gaps that this initiative aims to overcome.
