Our Identity We are a survivor-led community-based mental health organization based in Nakuru, Kenya. Our roots are deeply intertwined with the belief in amplifying vital yet often marginalized perspectives within the realm of mental health. Mission Statement Our mission is to promote the rights of persons with psychosocial disabilities through: Mental Health Advocacy and Awareness: We strive to raise awareness and advocate for the rights of individuals facing mental health challenges. Mental Health Trainings: We provide comprehensive trainings to equip individuals and communities with the knowledge and tools necessary to support mental well-being. Psychosocial Support: We offer invaluable psychosocial support to individuals navigating mental health issues, fostering a nurturing environment for healing and growth. Influencing Policies and Laws: We actively engage in shaping policies and laws to ensure the protection and empowerment of those with psychosocial disabilities. Vision Statement Our vision is to create an inclusive society wherein: The basic needs and rights of persons with mental health conditions are respected and upheld. Individuals can live meaningful, productive lives, free from the shackles of stigma and discrimination.
