About Smart Afrogrics

Smart Afrogrics is a legally-registered social enterprise that is based in Nairobi Kenya. It is a youth led organization that has its board members made up of equal number of men and women (4men and 4 women) seeks to address the SDGs while having ESG as a pillar of its operations. It focuses on climate action where it solves the problem through innovative ways such as organic farming, offering green energy transition solutions and training of the public on climate change and carbon credits. It has been able to achieve a milestone in this field having trained over 5000 farmers, planted over 10,000 fruit trees, organized two virtual conferences and subsequently sequestering 9000 metric tons of carbon. We have also been able to get global and local recognitions having been named among Total top 500 startupper of the year awards 2024, Top 4 CAHR Africa awards, DIAR 7th edition award winners and CBO category, Hult Prize local competition award winners and top 300 Hack the Globe 2025 finalists and our innovation electroplastication being listed under the climate resilient innovations by Miyamoto International. All these has made us to constantly seek to address the pressing challenges arising from the climate change sector through innovations and knowledge sharing.
