Widow Empowerment Africa is a legitimized entity based in Kenya, Western Region, Bungoma County, and Webuye Division, operating as a charitable organization in two Counties Bungoma and Kakamega County with an aim of providing socio-economic development, aimed at improving the livelihood of widows, orphans, and vulnerable members of the society in Kenya. The organization had a chance to partner with Hivos Foundation Tanzania 2012/2013, to address the issue of the learning ability of children between ages 3-10 in primary schools in two districts, Bungoma East and Lugari respectively.
