Farmers (K) Group SHG this is a registered self-help group composed of 20 members made up of 80% women. They are the pioneer groups of the project AITAP. AITAP Farmers Sacco Is the financing body within the project AITAP and it is open to voluntary membership to all members of the groups working with the project. End Poverty Resource Management Programme (NGO) The not for profit organization is tasked for donor funds sourcing to enable achieving the objectives of the project AITAP. Kenya Rural Foods Center Limited Is a Limited company tasked with trading, contracting and partnering within the project AITAP

Problem Statement

Food insecurity and unemployment are major challenges. The agricultural sector is underutilized due to a lack of modern equipment, processing capabilities, and efficient distribution networks.

Proposed Solution

Establish a vertically integrated agribusiness engaging in production, equipment supply, processing, and distribution. Create permanent and waged employment opportunities.

Expected Impact

Creation of over 3,000 jobs (casual and permanent). Improved food security and nutrition (SDG 2). strengthened domestic agricultural policies and international cooperation.

Sustainability Plan

The project is inherently sustainable as a commercial agribusiness. Revenue from farm commodities, equipment sales, and processing ensures financial viability and growth.
