Problem Statement

Rural schools in Kilifi lag in technology adoption, hindering the implementation of the new digital-focused curriculum (CBC). Students lack access to the tools needed for STEM education.

Proposed Solution

Equip 3 computer labs to serve 15 schools in Kilifi North, Ganze, and Kaloleni. Train teachers to deliver digital literacy effectively and integrate technology into learning.

Expected Impact

Enhanced digital literacy for students and teachers. Improved performance in STEM subjects. Increased exposure of rural youth to the technological world, bridging the digital divide.

Sustainability Plan

The computer labs will serve the community as cyber cafes during off-hours. Revenue generated from services like printing and internet access will fund maintenance and internet costs.
