Problem Statement

Children in Njiru face harsh living conditions and attend a school with dilapidated infrastructure. Poor facilities and inadequate lighting hinder academic performance and discourage enrollment among vulnerable families.

Proposed Solution

The project will construct new classrooms and install proper lighting systems to support extended learning hours. It also implements a surveillance system to monitor educational progress and facility usage.

Expected Impact

Outcomes include increased enrollment, improved student retention, and better academic performance due to a safer, well-lit learning environment. The upgrades restore dignity and confidence to the student body.

Sustainability Plan

The Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) will collect annual levies to fund maintenance. A dedicated project bank account will be used to reserve funds for future repairs, ensuring long-term infrastructure viability.
