Problem Statement

Kilifi County faces high youth unemployment and poverty, disproportionately affecting young mothers. These groups lack the capital, mentorship, and business acumen required to establish sustainable livelihoods.

Proposed Solution

The project provides entrepreneurship training, financial literacy education, and seed capital grants. It pairs participants with mentors to guide them in starting and managing successful businesses.

Expected Impact

Impacts include the establishment of 30 sustainable micro-enterprises, increased household incomes, and job creation. The project fosters economic self-reliance and improves the standard of living for participants.

Sustainability Plan

Sustainability is ensured through the creation of alumni networks for ongoing collaboration. Successful entrepreneurs are integrated into local business associations, and the model is designed for scaling with government partnership.
