Problem Statement

The community in Kogelo Nyangoma faces food insecurity, poverty, and a lack of agricultural knowledge/skills to effectively manage fruit trees.

Proposed Solution

Establish a fruit tree nursery with irrigation/greenhouses to produce/sell seedlings and conduct training on fruit tree management.

Expected Impact

Improved food security through nutritious fruits, income generation from fruit sales, and enhanced agricultural skills for the community.

Sustainability Plan

Revenue from seedling sales (projected $85k+ in Year 1) will be reinvested to cover ongoing costs and expand operations.
