Problem Statement

Young women and GBV survivors often lack the economic independence and self-defense skills needed to escape abuse. They face trauma, stigma, and pressure to succumb to harmful cultural practices.

Proposed Solution

The initiative offers self-defense training, legal clinics, and business skills workshops. It organizes beneficiaries into cohorts to register as Self-Help Groups for peer support and economic growth.

Expected Impact

Expected outcomes include increased self-confidence, economic empowerment through small business start-ups, reduced teen pregnancies, and a community shift away from harmful cultural practices.

Sustainability Plan

Beneficiaries are guided to register their own CBOs and Self-Help Groups. These groups engage in income-generating activities and table banking, ensuring financial independence and long-term peer support.
