Project Summary

This project empowers widows and youth in Rachuonyo North through agribusiness and Moringa farming. It improves nutrition and income while combating harmful cultural practices.

Problem Statement

Widows face economic hardship and harmful practices like widow inheritance. Youth unemployment leads to crime. Both groups lack sustainable income sources.

Proposed Solution

Train beneficiaries in agribusiness and Moringa cultivation. Support them to start income-generating activities and use Moringa for nutrition and sale.

Expected Impact

Improved household income and food security for widows. Reduced vulnerability to HIV and harmful practices. Employment creation for youth through agribusiness.

Sustainability Plan

Beneficiaries are trained as facilitators to continue capacity building. Partnerships with government agencies enhance service delivery and long-term support.
