The Toto Angel Centre in Kangurue slum provides vocational training and counseling to vulnerable teenage mothers. By teaching entrepreneurship and production skills, it enables them to earn a living and support their families.

Problem Statement

Teenage mothers in the marginalized Kangurue slum face poverty and lack of skills, risking life on the streets and family deterioration.

Proposed Solution

Provide vocational/entrepreneurship training and counseling to teenage mothers, enabling them to produce and sell school uniforms and shopping bags.

Expected Impact

Economic independence for teenage mothers, improved family welfare, and prevention of homelessness through skill acquisition and business engagement.

Sustainability Plan

The project generates income by manufacturing and selling school uniforms and branded shopping bags, including exports, to fund operations.
