Problem Statement

The region suffers from prolonged droughts, water scarcity, and unpredictable rainfall due to climate change. This leads to reduced agricultural productivity, food insecurity, resource conflicts, and environmental degradation.

Proposed Solution

Implement climate-smart agriculture, afforestation, and water harvesting. Promote renewable energy adoption and alternative livelihoods like beekeeping. Engage communities in climate action and sustainable resource management.

Expected Impact

Increased food security and agricultural yields. Improved water access and environmental restoration through reforestation. Economic empowerment via diversified livelihoods and reduced carbon emissions from renewable energy use.

Sustainability Plan

Capacity building empowers communities to continue climate-smart practices independently. Local committees and institutional partnerships ensure long-term management. Diversified livelihoods enhance economic resilience against future climate shocks.
