Government agencies (County Government of Kisumu – Department of Health and Sanitation, National Syndemic Diseases Control Council (NSDCC, Ministry of Education -Kenya) for support and integration of the project into the government projects for sustainability. 2. Local CSOs – LVCT Health, Nyanza Reproductive Health, Main stream org – to support in offering comprehensive HIV services. 3. Like minded organizations – to support in reaching out to young people with accurate HIV information and support such as Nelson Mandela TB/HIV Centre, MOLPS{ Men For Positive Living}.

Project Summary

Tushauriane strengthens peer outreach in Kisumu to identify and support Key Populations (KPs) with HIV services. It focuses on reducing stigma and reintegrating defaulters into care through community and facility-based services.

Problem Statement

Key Populations in Kisumu face structural barriers, stigma, and weak county systems, leading to high HIV prevalence and treatment default.

Proposed Solution

Deploy peer educators and virtual networks to reach hidden KPs, providing non-discriminatory, comprehensive HIV services and psychosocial support.

Expected Impact

Increased reach and viral suppression among KPs, strengthened family/community support, and reintegration of patients into care.

Sustainability Plan

Integrated with government health initiatives and empowers youth through skill development to create a cadre of community resource persons.
